This notice explains what personal information HomeVerifi collects through this website, why we collect it and how we look after it. What we collect

If you are a homeowner and fill in our call back form, we collect your full name, your property address, your phone number and, if you tell us, the name of your estate agent.

If you are an estate agent and fill in our form, we collect your name, your agency, your phone number and your email address.

We also record the page you were on, the time you sent the form, and the referral code or campaign details in the link you used to reach us. This tells us which agent introduced you. We use Vercel Analytics to count visits and form submissions. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.

Why we collect it

We use your details to call you back about HomeVerifi, answer your questions and, if you decide to go ahead, arrange your property pack. For agents, we use your details to talk to you about working with us.

Our lawful basis

We rely on legitimate interests to respond to an enquiry you have chosen to send us. When you ask us to call you about the service, we also rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted tools to receive, store and manage enquiries, such as our website host, our email provider and the spreadsheet we use to keep track of calls. These providers only process your information on our behalf. If you tell us who your estate agent is, we may let them know you have been in touch and keep them updated on your pack. We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

If you do not go ahead, we keep your enquiry for up to 12 months and then delete it. If you become a customer, we keep your information for as long as we need it to provide the service and for up to six years afterwards to meet our legal and accounting duties.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. You can also object to us using it for our legitimate interests. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
